Methadone to Suboxone, success story?

My husband is about to make the transition from Methadone to Suboxone he has been told to wait three to four days before starting Suboxone I’m just wondering from somebody who’s personally done this transition is there any success story of shorter time as a person who has overcome opiate addiction I know that the withdrawals are hell so I’m wondering is it possible to start and Suboxone without having to endure withdrawal pains and symptoms?

I use to take subutex for three years.. All I can say is it will keep him from being sick and help him out too. I must add it is a medication pushed by our governments so the make money off of people being on meds. It dumbs us down as a society. My advice is to try to not take it all the time but only when you feel like you really need it. That could be benifical in a couple ways..

Also figure out what your plan is. How long do you plan on taking this medication? Because coming off any medication is hard after being on them for so many years.

So with this information in hand I would like to say it’s a good transition. My mother was on methadone for many years and we she got off that as hard as it was she realized that it was good.. Hope this helps
